Organist, Chohee Kim

Chohee Kim is Organist and Accompanist.

She has Bachelor degree from Yonsei University specialized in Church Music-Organ Performance.  After her Bachelor, Chohee moved to University of Houston for studying with Dr. Robert Bates. She also held Organ Performance Certificate from Baylor University, Waco TX taught by Dr. Isabelle Demers. Chohee has Master's degree from University of Florida studying with Dr. Laura Ellis.

Chohee worked many different churches and schools as an organist and accompanist in U.S.

She served at the First Presbyterian Church in Marietta GA, South Side United Methodist Church in Jacksonville FL and other churches in TX. Her church position includes all service playing for Sunday and special events. She accompany Chancel Choir, Kirk Ringers and solos at church. In 2021, Lenten Noon Concerts Series launched by her including organ, piano&organ duet, violin, string quartet. 

  

Chohee also performs as solo performer. She had concerts in many churches and halls in Texas, Florida and Georgia. In 2017, Jacksonville Symphony , Jacksonville Children Chorus asked her play organ at Jacoby Hall for the Faure's  Requiem and Benjamin Britten's Missa Brevis( AGO Regional Conference). 

Now She holds the organist position at Noryangjin Church in Seoul, South Korea.
